Hello there, i am a proud owner of a silver rose version 944 turbo s. not exactly the 968 but it does not need to explain how much these cars have in common. because of bad disease in my family i was not able to take part in any discussion.
but infuture it surely will. i am very interested in how the 944 968 would have been evolved, if the cars would still have been in production. quite simply, because the design lines are quite pure clean and hard to beat in our time mechanism. for instance look at the idiot lines on modern ferraris, bmw's and mercedesses and compare them with their elegant 20 years older brothers and sisters. nowadays i get admiring looks even from youngsters about the appearance of the car. put some moderne porsche wheels on them and the 944 968 pass time for another 10 years. my special interest is the backside undertray of the 944. the 968 solutions is clean but somehow a little weak. i would like to see what nowadays designers would come up with. compare for instance the backside of the 917, quite classic but also modern. best greetings - sjaak
