Hello from Stockholm, Sweden
#1

Hi there,

I live in Stockholm Sweden and have just bought my first 968.

Been a petrol head all my life, started with motorcycles, moved to street racing with GM midsize sixties cars and finally in 2004 realized that I wanted a sports car and after some research found an -86, 911 which got me hooked for Porsches forever.

The car I have now is a -92, coupe in red and it has some modifications.

LSD, Bilstein coil overs, Sparco seats, full cage, 6-point harness, GT3 brakes, front hood and sunroof in fiberglass, 3" exhaust, came with R-tires on 17" Cup-2 wheels and a set of 18" street tires. Will be used mostly on trackdays. Car is in good shape but for some reason all documents got lost so I don´t even have a users manual.

Welcome from over in the UK!

I too started off with an 80's 911 (1987 Sport) which led to my 968. Be interested in what you think of the Bilstein coilovers (I assume the Cups?) and the fibreglass hood.

Cheers

Andy

Andy, the Bilstein coilovers works just fine, so far I think it´s a perfect compromise for road and track use. Has only done one trackday so far.

I´m not shure exact wich model it is, I think it´s a special mix of components put together by a small swedish company. They are said to be set up for Nurburgring wich sjhould be a good mix of road and track.

For the hood, it doesn´t fit perfect, otherwise no issues, but I will try to align a few more times and hopes for a better fit.
