Hello All
#1

Hello everyone. I'm Dave. I live in SE Pennsylvania, just outside of Philadelphia. Earlier this year I bought my first 968 and I must say that I love the car. I'm not new to Porsche, I also own a 1979 911 SC. The 968 is a tip/cab in amazon green with a black top and tan interior. I intentionally wanted a tip since this is more of a daily car and I don't want to be playing around with a stick all day while fighting traffic. I actually tripped over it while originally looking at 12-14 Benz E550's (I'd still love to pick up one of those. If my wallet was only as thick as my head) The car came wth a folder full of receipts documenting repair and maintenance. She does have a few little odds and ends I need to fix and I'll be asking you guys that know this model much better than I for some help along the way. That said I thank you in advance for the help I know you guys will be willing to give.

Hi Dave,

I live near Newtown, so we're practically neighbors. Shoot me a PM if you want to meet up.

I frequent Cars & Coffee in Doylestown.

Welcome! The collective knowledge here is amazing, I believe you will find someone who has fixed what you need to fix and can offer advice.

Some suggestions, however. Avoid discussions about tires, oil, politics, and music. And car audio is also a gray area that inspires great passion as does the cab/coupe debate and which color of 968 is fastest.

Again, welcome, and take a moment to learn how to use the search function (the little gear looking thing next to the search bar). The information contained herein is impressive, but only if you can figure out how to access it.

Matt

Welcome and Enjoy your ride. Don't listen to MCL. Clearly he is a progressive liberal and afraid to discuss sensitive topics. Everyone here is very nice and will agree with everything you say. That color combo is sweet. I tried to do a two car 968 purchase last year that included that color. No luck.
