Hello 968 Forum members
#1

Hi there, my name is Larry and I live in Marietta GA, just north of Atlanta. I am researching the 968 convertible to see if I want to purchase one, and currently do not own a Porsche.

I have in the past owned several Porsches including;
'70 914/6
'83 911SC Turbo body
'99 Boxster
'01 911 Carrera

Thank you very much and I look forward to learning about the 968.

Welcome Larry

I just bought a 968 Cab a few months ago and really loving the car. Meeting some great people on this forum as well which is very helpful as I am new to the world of Porsche.

Good luck.

My neighbor had an older 911SC with some exhaust work done on it. Fast and loud.

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at the feel of a FR porsche. The 68 is perfectly balanced, so it's going to feel very different then what your accustom to.

I love my 968 for what it is & don't hate it for what it isn't!

Hi Larry, I'm in Smyrna, GA and may be adding a 968 to my stable shortly...assuming I can unload my MGB. I'm already sold on the 968, I'll be purchasing one in my family (92 grand prix white coupe, 32k miles).
