Hi from Krusty in Westport, CT
#1

Hi everyone, this is Krusty, current owner of a '92 Amazon Green cab (25k miles) and former owner of a black '93 coupe in Tokyo, Japan. I sadly had to let that one go when I moved back to the US in '05 but quickly got a replacement from Raj in NJ (is he still active with 968s?) I used to lurk and very rarely post on the other forum and I occasionally looked in here but I'm really not very social, especially on the interwebs. I've been using the 'net since before it officially existed but all that facebook/twitter stuff leaves me cold and as its gotten more popular I've become more and more of a hermit online (and maybe in real life, too.)

By trade I'm one of those evil finance people you've read all about in the news--actually the worst of the worst, a high frequency trader at a hedge fund. However I must not be very good at it since I seem to be the poorest person in Connecticut and I don't own even one solid gold helicopter. Anyway I only spin the wheels of capitalism (ruining widows and orphans, bankrupting "Main Street", etc.) as a way to pay for my hobbies. These include anything you can do with tools or hands: woodworking, cooking, mechanical maintenance, saltwater fish, beer brewing, boats, you name it. I may be antisocial but I'm not unfriendly and I'm always happy to answer a question about what I do know, and very grateful to those who help me out with their knowledge.

Thanks,

Krusty in Westport

Welcome. Glad you saw the light and got back in the fold. It probably will be more fun than ruining some old widows pension!

Greetings, and welcome! Free advice: post enough times on this site to gain full access status and you'll find more DIY and tech info on your 968 here in the various forums than you can imagine. Enjoy!

PS---gold helo's are yesterday's news. Go for the platinum Robinson R44.

Being an only child and prefer to work alone, etc., etc., etc., I can relate. But it is fun to jump here and enjoy the chatter not to mention really helping one enjoy his toy.

Welcome back. Enjoy the ride.

Brewing beer? Aha, now we're talking! If you want to brew us a 968Forums' special batch, I'd be happy to be your guinea pig! We can be anti-social in the meantime all you want! May I suggest a triple?

Welcome!
