Greetings from Napa Valley California
#1

I have a '93 Cab w/ the wimbledon green - reason being: When I was a kid I saw the movie Gumball Rally and fell in love w/ the 365 Spyder - this car always reminded me of that styling and was something I could afford since it was (2) figures less than the Daytona was at the time.

Kinda funny how I acquired it: I was driving to Bodega on the coast early one Saturday morning to meet my Aunt and Uncle - there I was driving on these twisting and turning roads w/ not a car on the road in my Mercedes diesel thinking "what's wrong w/ this picture" I told myself that when I got home on Sunday I was going to go online to autotrader and if there was a wimbledon green cab west of the rockies I would buy it. Miraculously, I found one in the Bay area just an hour away (I had looked on and off, but not very serious for a number of years for a wimbledon green and this was the first I had ever seen for sale) I called immediately, I got a very agitated woman who explained that it was her husbands baby, garaged since day one etc... "the bastard cheated on me w/ his secretary, but the car is in my name" I interrupted, and said "stay pissed, I'll be right there".......... and that's how I got my 968.

I am really looking forward to learning about performance modifications etc... from the wealth of information from the members of this site.

Cheers,

Paul

One of my favorite places on Earth...

Trade you RS Barn parts for your cab against Cabs from Stag's Leap District...

Hope I can visit you soon,

Jay

That's wierd...my '93 Wimbledon Green Cab was just stolen...at least that's what my wife told me. We'll have to talk.

Just kidding. Welcome aboard!
