Hello from Pensacola Florida!
#1

I recently purchased a '95 Cabrio. It was a "rescue" from a neglectful owner. The good news it's a 6 speed (my preference) and runs and drives very well. The paint is still good but the seats were sun faded and cracked and are now out for new leather. The top had the piece behind both windows broken and missing I can put it up manually but I have found these parts . I didn't know anything about these cars. It quickly took me to school on the price and availability of parts. I have used this site for the last couple of months learning much. I look forward to being a member and might lean on the technical expertise of other members from time to time, especially in the beginning.

Thanks for a great site!

Mike.

Mike,

Welcome and great to see someone who loves the car and is willing to rescue one and return it to a better state. All the best with the journey and the challenges that it will bring. Hopefully there are many years (or a lifetime) of great memories and the effort of returning the car to its past glory will create a bond that means it will be a car for life.

Hopefully you have found that there is a ton of great info and tech help here. By participating, hopefully you will also find there are great people here as well. All the best for the road ahead.

Welcome to the board. I just left Navarre last summer to return to the East Coast last summer.

The local PCA isn't all that active, but the folks who are are wonderful people. I did quite a bit with them and ended up being the Sonnenschein VP for a while before I left. If you need any work done, you'll need to talk with Harry Williams (http://son.pca.org/HW_Imports/index.html). Great guy, fair, and a VERY knowledgeable Porsche mechanic.
