GO OAKLAND A's!!!!
#1

For any of you who have been following the amazing story that is the Oakland Athletics this year, my son and I have been to four of the last five games. We're going tomorrow afternoon to the final regular season game of the year - winner takes the West title in a one game showdown with the Texas Rangers. WOO HOO! THIS IS FUN!!!!

Never use the cheer " GO ! " with ANY Bay Area team, because there's a pretty good chance they will listen to you and go....as in move...probably to somewhere in Los Angeles :-(

Yesterday's game was over the top. A team made up of rookies and cast offs, well coached and fearless, takes down the second highest payroll in MLB.

I have always ben a fan of Oakland and I don't get to near enough games. We need to support this team and keep them in Oakland.

I don't think so. You gotta beat the Nationals! We are due for a winning team. I don't think they were the Kings this year. What was their record?

Record??! As of right now 1-0. Regular season is over. The team with the best record rarely, wins it all...unless their name is the yankees. There is a reason they call us the wild Cards.

To me, the king isnt decided for the year until the pennant is won. If you look at history though, St Louis is definitely kings of the NL, second in all of baseball only to the yanks. 11 series wins, 18 NL pennnant titles(22 if you count AA). Its a 3 way tie between Dodgers, Giants, and Cards for NL titles at 18. if St Louis wins a pennant this year, they would be kings in both NL titles, and series wins officially.
