Frank's Automotive, 5220 Folsom Boulevard Sacramento, CA 95819. Car failed smog because of a split EVAP vacuum hose. They replaced that hose for $2.00, replaced the oil filler cap, tightened up "several" loose bolts and nuts for the balance shaft belt tensioners, and reset the airbag light twice (second time at no charge).

Yes, I like Frank's too - they've done my belts and a varity of other items in the 9 years I've owned my car with no complants. For sacramento I also like IPB-autosport (1206 C St ) they cater more to the race/performance crowd but do good work....

I live in Los Angeles now but I first used Frank's with my 1982 911SC over 20 years ago. Since then, they worked on a few of my other Porsche's, a couple of Mercedes, a Range Rover, a Jag XJR and even my 1972 BMW 2002! Great shop.
