for sale: left (driver fender)
#1

3 weeks after my paint job, i got bumped by a kid and replaced my fender with a new one - it was a pretty benign bump, and easy to fix, but i wanted a new one anyway - i still have the old one - i can let it go as is, or have it done at my body shop - it was dead smooth, with not even any orange peel before i got bumped

a new one is 600 bucks

i'll let this go for $50 as is - $250 if i have it fixed it primed by my body shop - pretty sure i still have the shipping box - i'll check - buyer pays shipping and handling

i banged it out a bit to make sure it was easily repaired, and looks a lot better than this pic - i'll try to get back to the body shop where it is now, and take a pic that shows the damage, but it's hard to see in a pic

here is a shot before i banged it out at all

I have been keeping all of the OEM stuff that I have replaced on the car. Good stuff, just OEM. Steering wheel, spare, bumperettes etc.

Do you think that I should keep these pieces for either the next owner ( can't imagine selling her ) or if these guys become collectable, for a concourse restoration? No mods so far can't be undone.

Anyone doing the same or going through the same thought process?

that's up to you - i did that for years - cost me a fortune to store and ended up with a small warehouse of stuff i had to just about give away when i moved to LA

now i'm forcing myself to get rid of everything - the stuff is cheap enough that i can always buy new stuff if i need to
