Chris, fantastic news about your son. I remember you telling me about all the emotionally ( and finically ) draining challenges , way back when we met annually in Paso Robles ; it was depressing to hear , even as an outsider. We are very fortunate that our son, now almost 33, has never touched a drug or even alcohol in his entire life . On the flip side of the coin, he’s never had a real job from which he can make a living ..he relies on his girlfriend to support him. ( they’ve been together 12 years now , and recently moved to Olympia , Wa ) I subsidize his rent expenses to some extent also. He is very stubborn about sticking to his profession ( an actor by vocation, and a video game editor by avocation ) but without nepotism connections, that’s a wasted profession, and the video game thing via YouTube has even more competition and takes ages to get to a point of any decent income. So we’re rather down about that aspect, but given the alternative considering what you and so many other families go through, I can’t complain and should be content . What I can complain about , is that he has no interest in cars whatsoever . I need to check with the mailman , and run a DNA test on him.
. Anyway, I’m very happy for you and your son’s success .
