Hi


Please can you advise if there are any differences between the manual and tiptronic engines.


I am looking at a couple of 2nd hand engines, one from a manual and the other a tip.


Apart from the bell housing and flywheel / torque converter are there any other differences?


If no, why did Porsche give them different engine codes?


If I get the tip, can I just bolt up the flywheel and clutch from a manual car no problem?

as far as i have been able to find, there is no difference in the engine itself.

 

porscheG96 has actually done the conversion on a whole car
