Wow, I'm sorry no one answered your question. I assume you've got it sorted. For future reference, yes there is a tool, but you can do without it. I scoured the web for some good pics, and this is the best I could find, I know it's not the specific connector, but most work the same way.

You'll notice from the pic that the connectors have a little barb. If you look down the plug you can see where it is located on your connector, then just take a needle or some other small, stiff object and push the barb down as you pull the conductor out the back side of the plug. To replace, make sure you bend the barb back up and simply push the conductor in until you feel it click.
BTW, as long as I'm stealing their pics, I guess I should plug ( [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif[/img] ) these guys. They're great if you need a new connector, or a few pins.
