Getting ready to replace my main Motronic DME harness in the engine bay (harness that starts at the hall sender and goes all the way back to the computer). The black cable ties that bundle everything together...they connect to the firewall. Does anyone know for sure what that part number is? I'm coming up with 999-513-023-40, which was a replacement for <span>999-513-006-40. The tie itself has a little grommet on it, which actually goes into the front side of the firewall. </span>

 

Has anyone done serious wiring work on their 968 harnesses that can help me out a bit?

Yep, you nailed it. Just looked a picture up, 443-971-850-A it is. Porsche dealer couldn't find them either, go figure. Waylander, you're a live saver man. Appreciate the help. I'll let you know if that addresses the knock sensor and hall signal woes I've been having. Yikes
