Today I got around to mount the strut brace and the firewall brace. The fit is, as always, flawless.
However, I do have a tip with regards to mounting the firewall brace which is a pain for anyone with hands bigger than a little girl.
I simply mounted the two pieces together and torqued the bolts to specs. I did replace the hardware for metrics (can't really understand why they mix 'em ). Then I took the longest extension, allowing me to reach between the brace and the brake fluid reservoir, and a "knee" (english word?) and I secured the nut with tape with a hole cut through it for the bolt to go through. I had two nuts in the socket so that the outer one sat shallow enough for the bolt holding the master cylinder to reach. The whole operation took about 5 minutes and did not require any of the taking apart described in the installation instructions.
