You're exactly right. There was no way I was going to get close enough to make a move under braking in the usual places. I was waiting for him to run into traffic, or hoping to pressure him into a mistake as his tires were going off more than mine were. I was very fortunate that the slower GTS1 944 showed up when it did.

I just saw your video Jim. Great stuff...As I was watching I realized my own heart rate was increasing and my palms were getting sweaty as you were chipping away at the gap to the 911. Congrats on a great race win.

Great video to watch. I've never raced, but I know from DE that it is great fun to chase someone down that way. Can only imagine how it would be at the NATIONALS. Congrats!
