Hi

Does anyone know of club sports being made is any other than the 5 normal colours, i own a club sport 94 model which was a porsche demo and its slate grey.

I have heard a customer could order any colour from production?, just a bit wiered with it being a porsche car for 12000 miles.

Thanks

Simon,

As you probably already know, Porsche did (and will), paint your Porsche any color you wish. Back in the day, Porsche even had a TV ad letting potential customers know that Porsche would "color match" anything you wished (including your current-squeeze's lipstick!).

My personal favorite Genuine Porsche hues include:

Guards Red (of course!)

Speed Yellow

Mexico Blue

Maritime Blue

Riviera Blue

I've had a few "color match" cars in Ferrari Fly Yellow (which is brighter than Porsche's Speed Yellow).

Hi Simon,

As per my avatar on the left, my aussie M030 968CS is Aventurine Green.

I think the idea behind the CS and the Sport was clearly performance so they cut features to lower the price while increasing performance. It would be unusual to find an extra cost paint option on one of these cars as it almost defeats the purpose. That said, you can spend your money on whatever you want.

Hi,

my CS is signal green, which is pretty rare, I think. It was ordered in Switzerland.

you can find pictures of it in a previous thread (what is the next step from a 968 CS m030)

cheers

Hi,

My Austalian delivered 968 CS is Midnight Blue metalic and came with an LSD, M030 suspension and cloth comfort seats - go figure! It now has the correct hardback colour coded seats and of course is much lighter and goes a lot quicker <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/tongue.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

This is not entirely true for the Club Sport. When the CS was introduced in the ’93 model year it could only be ordered in 5 colors (Grandprixweiss, schwartz, maritimblau, indischrot and speedgelb). For the ’94 model year Porsche dropped the constraint and customers were able to choose the same colors as for the normal 968s (including color match).
