I had a realization that perhaps through some kind of cosmic convergence, a regular reader may have missed the final word on chips, so here it is, in the proper forum, laid out, spread eagle, THE CHIP SUMMARY:

I was in the market for a chip and started wading through the 40-50 threads on which is best...and gave up. It seemed to be like Which is Better? Ford or Chevy? (Chevy actually). Although Porsche trumps them both. Apparently some chips do better for low end, others for high end, etc, etc. There was an article in 9 magazine on this (I think...apparently it was never completed until an issue I couldn't get)...So..for the time being, I've given up.
However, if Greimann suggests anything...take it serious. I'm now going to look into the Speed 6 Chip.
