the chat room is now repaired and up and running



there was some interest expressed in a scheduled chat - who wants to lead this? who wants to be the porn star of the day?

I like the chat idea but cant commit to a time or day. Weekdays is a toss up for me at work and the weekends Im only online late at night.



I will support it as much as I can. Actually, I would love to chat technical stuff with guys that have more know how then me (which is 99% of you)

hey guys - i'd like to get this set up and make it a regular thing - unfortunately with people only hitting "view new posts" it gets buried pretty quickly

I've opened it up a time or two, but noone is ever in there...perhaps because it was busted. I did actually chat with someone once jsut to see if it was up and running. Be that as it may, thanks for fixing it...



I don't think a scheduled time will work due to everyone's schedule being different and that pesky time zone thing. Perhaps if we all simply get in the habit of checking it to see who's in there and what topics are being discussed it will evolve on it's own.

Honestly if the chat room is up I'd bet that post traffic would drop. There is a lot of interesting back and forth that would be ashame to have to miss if one is catching up in an asynchronous fashion.
