Changing all the fluids Saturday, want to confirm amounts
#1

So I'm spending Saturday working on the car for a while, including trying to change all the fluids out for new. Just want to confirm how much of everything to buy.

Oil: 7L

Tranny: 3L (redline)

Coolant: 8L (phosphate free)

Power steering: 1L (ATF-Dexron II)

I've heard some debate on what weight oil to use. I live in an area that's almost always 70 degrees. May see an autox from time to time, but that's about it.

I would think that 15-50 would be alright for your temp. range. But, be sure to use either Redline or Royal Purple when changing the oil. The others such as Mobil One have taken out some key ingredients that make the engine wear faster. You could use Mobil One, provided you use some kind of fortifier.

coolant capacity is 8.0L but you only need 4 liters of antifreeze and 4 liters of water.

got myself some prestone phosphate free coolant(amazingly hard to figure out which ones have phosphates in them).

ordered 7 l of the amsoil euro blend oil that I've heard many people on here discuss. Couldn't justify the $10 a bottle price for the redline.
