Change guage faces to white-How difficult?
#1

I'm thinking about changing the guage faces to white. I think that would be pretty cool but after reading the description on Pelican about the disassembly and taking the needles off the guages and the potential resulting accuracy problems..................not sure this is a good idea. Anybody have any experience doing this? Is it as hard as the Pelican site shows?

lol - the only thing i know about white faces is that i never liked them - driving convertibles for 30 years, they have always been hard to see, as they reflected too much light back in my face

a few new cars have gone to white faces, but they have incorporated anti-glare coatings, so they aren't so bad - i'd look to see if they do that in the kit - side note on the coatings and displays, they are generally polarized, so your sunglasses may or may not let you see them - i have that problem with the display on my JVC deck in the 968 - in a cab, this is a big deal, since you are almost always wearing them

but the kit doesn't look too hard to install, relatively speaking
