The pieces I am talking about cover the mechanism and move up and down when you put top up and down. Mine seemed to have changed position and I am trying to figure out if they are supposed to be positioned above or below the rest of what I guess you call the shelf enclosure that goes around the back below the window and along the sides covering the mechanism these pieces do not.
If someone can tell me how to post a picture I have a clear one of the area.

If someone can take a shot of theirs, it is with top up, I can see what position they should be in.
On the picture you can see how it is sitting on top of the other piece.
