Nice color & nice wheels!

It's a 997, so the headlights look great. Hate the "broken yolk" look of the 996, not to mention ALL the other problems that the 996 apparently has...

So... what's holding you up?

That's sharp. I know 911s are pretty polarizing, but seems like the older I get, the more I like them. The fact that they keep getting better and better may have something to do with it... Plus as they get ever more expensive, they're getting a lot more rare, at least in these here parts.

they want $97,911 Canadian. Cute pricing structure. At least they didn't want $997,911. Original spec sheet was $152,675.

What's holding me up? Perhaps appropriately, both "9s" in the price, especially the first one!!

Wow, and gone are the days when there was a 20% delta in USD vs. CAN, now it's more like 2%.

I like the car, I think you deserve it <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.png" class="smilie" alt="" />

Yeah, the difference is less. Where it hurts in when you return one. The leased 2008 Cayman S listed at $90K, I "got it" in May 2009 for $75K. I bought 120k km over 4 years and it had a residual of $29,550 at the end. When I brought it back, after 3 years and with only 75k km, it was "appraised" at $30K. So, I guess, keeping it one more year and driving it an additional 45k km would have decreased its value by only $450. But that where the pricing hurts - most of my friends drive US cars that they bought at a discount 3-4 years ago and now, with money about even, you can't get back a fair value if you paid the Canadian price before the parity. They just can't sell a 2008 Cayman S at the price needed to value the one I brought back at a fair price based upon normal depreciation and original selling price.

But the 2009 Carrera 4S with only 9000 km seems to be about the same price as it would cost in the US.

Sweet <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.png" class="smilie" alt="" /> Is there a C4SForums.com?

Planet 9 has a 911 section. But no C4S section that I know of.

Who am I kidding, I couldn't afford any new Porsche, but my 'bye bye Cayman' moment happened at the L.A. Auto Show last year. I waited my turn to sit in a new Cayman, got in, adjusted the seat as low as it would go (I'm 6'4"), turned my head to the left and, while there was plenty of headroom, the top of the drivers side window frame was right about at my eye level. Don't think I could live with that.
