You could try bimmerfest.com. I'm not sure where to find traffic on the 7-series though.

I belong to bimmerfest. It's OK, but no comparison the this forum, imho. Maybe it's because I have a new 328i, so most of the posts center around peoples' color choices, dealer recommendations, what kind of deals they're getting, etc. You didn't say how old your 740iL is, but if it's more than a few years old, hopefully there'll be more discussion about the mechanics of the car itself. Also, try googling "BMW forums." Maybe there's something better out there. Good luck.

Not sure how much traffic is directed towards your particular series / model.

Rennlist.com has forums for BMW as well. Good luck, Bob Blackwell.

Thanks, guys.

It's actually a 1994 740iL that has eaten me alive in repairs and has been replaced by a Lexus RX400h. Right now I just need to get ahead of repairs vs new problems long enough to sell it. FYI, why does a driver's seat suddenly break and angle 30 degrees to the right rear? I am far from fat. Grrrrrrrrrrrr.
