Rest assured, we are not all like that. I yell at cyclists all the time, and I am one, just not one of those.

I think here in California , or at least in the Bay Area from what I experience nearly every weekend , cyclists tend to have more of an attudude ( of course not all are alike ..) but more often than not you’ll see the “we own the road“, unyielding group mentality .

It’s not just Ca. I gave up riding a while ago because here cars tend to disregard bikers and make life very dangerous. Just moving bikers over to the sides of our  roads is a guarantee for a spill.

We have loads of cycle lanes here, but the selfish folk I Lycra refuse to use them and they wave and swear at car drivers when the get a bit close

Think cyclists should have some form insurance to protect the car driver from gouges in the paint from handle bars and stuff

We have to pay enough to use the roads then abused by the freeloader cyclist

I have now angled my near side headlamp washer to get revenge when needed

That’s funny. Angle the windshield washer nozzle also, more spray !

Great pic! I did triathlons for most of the 1990s; a time when swim suits for cycling and running were introduced. Similar views bobbing along in front were not that rare, and were initially distracting when trying to concentrate on a race .... I hope I never lose my medium term memory!
