Driving home today in stop and go traffic, I must have been getting bored. For whatever reason I stuck my hand between the seat and the center console, the carpet on the console was quite warm directly below the button/latch for the lid and next to the seat bottom cushion. Forward and back the carpet felt room temperature, just this one warm spot. Maybe a misaligned heat shield below on the exhaust. Or is this just a quirk of a Cab or a 968? Anyone ever notice this too?

I think it is just the way they are, both my 924 and 968 are the same way. Just a small space with a hot exhaust running through it.
