Thanks JC for setting up the poll. I am amazed how long these cars stay in the same hands.

Now I suppose the next step will be for someone to start a book on the final weighted average!!

Cheers,

Peter

That has to be a record, 67 months of ownership...on 4 different 968s...

A record for now....until our member from the Netherlands with eleven 968s chimes in. ( though might be only eight by now, I recall that three of them were for sale ? )

I’m severely lacking in the common sense department when it comes to cars!

I really regret letting the one I owned for 29 months go and up until this January I hadn’t owned any vehicle for longer.

I considered purchasing a 968 for over a decade. Came very close in 2010 on a white/cashmere coupe in Sacramento but hesitated for too long, and it sold. Then again hesitated on a blue coupe with two-tone blue/grey interior. I think missing out on those two made me jump on the next four!

My first was the Midnight Blue coupe: July 1, 2012 to January 1, 2014: 18 Months

Second was Polar Silver Coupe: November 9, 2012 to May 20, 2013: 7 Months (sold it to buy Flash's super charger!)

Third was gull wing White Couple: August 2013 to December 1, 2013: 4 Months

Current car is Wimbledon Green Coupe: Bought in August 21, 2013: 8 months and counting (I've done too much to this car to sell it)

I would like to buy a cab one day, if I find one that I think is interesting.

please. remember who you are talking to. you have done too much to your car to sell it. hmmmm! for a guy that goes through 968"s like you do, I bet you someone or something could come along and change that statement. lol I think that about my red one which seems to to have an insatiable appetite. Or my own addiction shines through. But I just keep that thought to myself because most everyone has a price or another, " I must have that". lol
