Coming back from breakfast yesterday on one of our favorite driving roads (AZ 96 between Prescott and Bagdad) a sports car accompanied by a Range Rover jumped in line. Car had a big Pirelli sign on the side so we thought it was a tire testing. After following us for about 20 miles through the twisties at speed (our lead car was a GT3, I was driving my modified '04 996, followed by a 911 Turbo and a few others so speed was happening!) we stopped to split up for the final routes home. Turns out it was the yet-to-be released Aston Martin DBS Superleggera! Factory guys (Brits) on a "hot weather testing" drive (they started in Phoenix) with the RR being the support vehicle. Visited for about 15 min, very nice car and all wired up with a trunk full of computer measuring equipment. 715 hp and lots of carbon fiber in that car. Tires were donated by Pirelli, thus the sign. A-M driver used to work for Porsche in Brittan so he was very happy tagging along. But couldn't talk him into a ride-along.
