Hello, although I currently don't own a 968, I have 7 944 Turbos including 1 race car. I also have 2 944Cup cars. One of my turbos has a 968 engine with an 8V head. I will be installing a 968 six speed with LSD in that car. I am here mostly for the technical information offered and the classifieds. I will probably buy a 968, if I can sell off some of my 944 fleet

Thanks,

John
I am working on a 968 turbo conversion....maybe we can share some info??

Have you used any aftermarket control systems?

John,
Welcome to 968Forums. You will find this forum very helpful with the 968 drive train. Once you dive into 968 ownership, you'll be on this board almost daily. I didn't realize that you had an interest in the 968 as well as the "fleet" of 944's. I probably won't make it to Barber, but I'll see you at the next NASA event for sure.

Everyone else,
I've spent a lot of time getting to know John at the track. Good guy for sure.

Hi John,

My wife and I spent a nice night in Beauford, SC on a drive up 17...one of my favorite sayings comes from the Marine Air Base in your town:

"The noise you hear is the sound of freedom"

We saw the sign after being greeted by a squad of F-18s overhead, sure are glad they were ours
