I'm not so sure about the red seats with the cashmere interior...but for the rest it look like a great car!
There's a 92 Maritime Blue Coupe on Craigslist near me in California, that I'm tempted with. Unfortunately, it's Tiptronic, though I could transplant a manual transmission from my parts car if I only had the time....

Are you sure that is summer yellow? It looks like the darker and deeper speed yellow. Still a nice car but a bit overpriced.
That is the last u.s. coupe and is supposed to be a shade of summer yellow. If i remember correctly, it was a special order color painted in Porsche's older 1970's Summer yellow. Someone correct me if i'm wrong.
But i agree, it does not look like summer yellow in those pictures to me either.
The asking price is high due to the fact that its the last coupe, a 1 off color (i think), a full documented history since new, and has some nice options.
If i did not have my car and was in the market for a Coupe. I would snatch this right up. As it stands now, my next 968 will be a cab for the lady or perhaps the mint green early coupe if i can get my hands on it.
Speaking of which, i emailed this ad. to my father who is about to pull the trigger on a yellow Boxster S. Hopefully he'll be tempted and buys this car instead....i don't think i could sway him to the dark side however.
Looks like Speed Yellow to me..................

Dino, like you said earlier, it is the last US emissions coupe but it is not the last 968 coupe made for North America. That car is a black/black coupe (SS820319) that went to canada. It has the highest VIN for a 968 NA 968 coupe. I don't know how big a deal it is to be the last US car, kind of like being the last red car (SS820316). The car is indeed a special order color to sample solid code 98 car in summer yellow despite what the pictures look like. It does have a couple of options but not a lot. It has partial leather, limited slip, a power drivers seat, and a CD player. It had the 16" wheels and does not have the center console top and cassette holder. The cashmere interior with yellow is unusual. The actual last 968 coupe is fully loaded with heated/power sport seats, 17" wheels, and hi-fi speakers but we haven't seen it yet. Kim has to find it.
