Any recommendations for a shop in Phoenix to do a PPI on a 968 coupe?
Thanks

My favorite Porsches shop is Stuttgart Southwest in Tempe. Jack Doverspike has worked on many PCA members cars for years. He can be reached at 480-968-6764.

Tell Jack Bob Frith referred you. He'll take great care of you and will give you an honest assessment.
Ditto re Jack. An honest guy with a load of experience.

I know this thread is old now. For those looking in the future it might be worthwhile to add some advice for locals. Jack is a great guy, known him for years, hes honest, and they USED to work on my 944. That said, I would never take a front engine car to them ever again. A 911 is one thing, Jack puts his most experienced mechs on the 911's. However, he puts his least experienced people on the 944/68's. If its modded, your really in the wrong place. When I go to a shop, I go to Don Jackson enterprises now. They actually put the most experienced mechanic on our cars..John Jackson. Its a small shop, family owned, and been there since the early 70's. They built the 3.0 turbo im currently running in my 951. They are the best in AZ hands down, front engine, or rear. Ill do a search, and see if anyone has mentioned them. If not Ill make a thread, they really are that good.
Jack did a good job on my PPI as well. He found all the major items and recommended replacing the balance and cam belts before I drove it 450 miles to SoCal. I found plenty to do since then, but Jack did a solid job getting me to a safe position without spending a fortune.
Wish I could say the same for my last ppi from him. Did a leak down, and said the valves were leaking, and that was ok. Don Jackson did a ppi....come to find out the rings were shot...the leak down numbers, and the fact air was coming out the oil cap. An experienced 944 mech would have known right away.
