Good Morning, I'm new to the Forum and what brings me here is I own a German auto repair shop. We started as a Porsche specialty shop and branched out into other German makes. 

We service about 50+ 944s and about a dozen 968s. I personally owned an 87 944 and 78 911.

I'm hoping to find more information on repairing the ambient air temp display or find a replacement unit for a 94 968 we currently have in the shop

As far as finding outside air temp units, they are unobtainium...believe you can remove and resolder them. Perhaps one of our members will chime in.
