Hello Everyone!

I finally fulfilled a longtime dream and been given the wonderful opportunity to own a transaxle Porsche!  Thanks to my clever Jedi mind tricks, I was able to "convince" longtime member Bob in Prescott AZ to part with his carWink  Neither Bob nor his 1993 Grand Prix White over Gray coupe need introductions here, however I hope my personal introduction here can be well received as the new owner/caretaker!  I look forward to staying up way too late and neglecting my family and career obligations as I digest the massive amounts of information at this wonderful site!

Cheers,

HK in Atlanta

Welcome HK,

This is a great site and we welcome you with open arms. Bob is very well known here and I'm sure that you will need all of the resources of this site to bring the POS up to standard. I'm sure his old junker is worth every bit of the $8,000 you paid for it.

(i'm just messing with you)

Regards,

Jay

Jay, the price was supposed to be confidential, how did you figure that out so quickly?

Treat HK nicely, he will suffer enough just being on this forum :-)

As we say here, may the forum be with you!
Thanks for the warm welcome.  I haven't had the heart to tell Bob that my first mods will be 4 inline 1950s era Ventiports carved into the hood and to revise the exhaust into a pair of free flow side pipes.  If he finds out I did that to his old car he might just freak out so it's a good thing that not everyone can view these posts.

Be careful, I'm still around lurking.
That car would look awesome with 20" chrome spinners  :ninja:

Hi HK, I'm just an occasional lurker here ( I was, shall we say, overactive in the past). However, my Amazon Green '94 resides with me in Covington. Atlanta covers a big area, but would be glad to share 968 tales with you any time. You now have a great car. Good move.

Happy Memorial Day everyone!!!  Thank you to all of those vets and active serviceman/women forum members who have served and afforded me and my family the lifestyle and freedom we have today.  (BTW I was going to post this in another area but I can't start a new topic)

Welcome.Enjoy your ride!
