Yeah! I've finally poped my parking ticket cherry yesterday.
Got it for parking in a yellow zone in San Francisco.
I missread the rules on my handicap sign, I thought I could park in yellow zones.
$73

I'm 25.
I also only have 1 speeding ticket.
So I only pay $16 per month for insurance.
I have not really been driving the 968 much in the last 5 or 6 months,
but, today, after 5 warnings over the last 3 years, I finally got
a ticket for no front plate.
Just got it 20 minutes ago. Argh.
Only $60.

Surprised you lasted this long.
What excuse were you using and who was it that got you (Bmore city, state trooper, etc)
First of many parking tickets was at Colgate University to visit my sister in the fall of 1989. My buddy and I took a road trip in my sweet Plymouth Reliant, which was dark gray with plush burghundy vinyl bench seats. I got the ticket for parking in a No Stopping or Standing zone on campus and promptly lit the ticket on fire with my buddy's Bic lighter. It was definately worth it to watch that ticket go up in smoke and we laughed all weekend, even while upside down on large barrel-shaped aluminum tapped objects. Colgate campus security never really "reached out" to me about that, but the school asks my sister for money on a regular basis. Oh, was this supposed to be about tickets in a 968? Only speeding tickets reduced to failing to signal for this lucky one.
I only seem to get parking tockets in Italy. One in Lucca. They even sent me a registered letter asking for payment one year later for $90. Then I got one Viterbo, which I never paid. I guess I'm persona non grata in Italia.
David, it was MTA on 95 south of the city.

Figures, those guys aren't real cops. Tickets are what they do!
still, ya had a nice run Pat.
That I did!!
The "cop" was cool about it. All the warnings came up on his computer and his hands were tied.
He had to issue the ticket.
