I came upon this site during my research for info on the 968. My younger brother recently bought a 914 (I know he has poor taste) and that got me to thinking about my favorite older Porsche models. There's lots of info on 944's out there, but this site appears (from what I have been able to see so far) to be the spot for info on the selecting and care/feeding of the 968.
My objectives are to learn about the model and let that inform my search for acquiring one. I'm in San Francisco, CA so there are 968's that come up for sale locally.
Thanks
Bob
Welcome Bob! It's a pretty amazing site with a ton of info. I did the same thing when I was thinking about the 968. This site has some great, knowledgeable people that will certainly point you in the right direction should you get stuck. Do a search or just browse the topics. It will take you a few days to go through the site. There are some pretty active people on the board that live in the Bay area. If you get a 968, you'll be in good company up there...
Good luck!
Travis
Not sure that I would be too critical of somebody liking a 914. I sure wish I had one. Especially a good one. Might be worth more than a good 968.
That would be a 914/6 of course. Zoom Zoom!

Dave,
I'm with you on the 914 with the big engine. Sadly that's not the ride that my younger brother bought.
I'm looking forward to being able to check out the great info on this site.
Thanks
Bob
you already have access to almost everything - there are only a few areas that are limited access, and that is to give new members a chance to poke around, read some, and get familiar, before jumping right in and asking a question that is likely already answered
but welcome and enjoy
