Hello,

I live in Denver, CO. I have had a 924S for about 15 years. IN 2003 when I went to trade it in on a "Terminator" they only wanted to give me $500. And that included an extra set of wheels. The 8 mags alone were worth more than that. So I kept it as my daily driver. I have just bought a 1992 black 968 Cabriolet with 83,000 miles. So far I have purchased new winter tires, ignition (electrical contact issue), clutch (yet to arrive & install), and had several things adjusted. I also own 2 '87 944S's which I am going to make into one and sell. There will be some spare parts. The 17" tires/wheels from one will go for summer tires on my cabrio.

In the past I have owned:
a 1960 Ford Galaxy 500, 390, bucket seats, 4 on the floor, white with black interior.
a mid 1970's Monte Carlo 350, automatic (only one I ever owned), landau, brown with white interior
1981 RX-7 (for 14 years), gold with brown interior.
1987 924S *
2003 Mustang Cobra gray / gray, supercharged 390 hp/#ft. *
2 1987 944S's one black one maroon (both in need of repair) *
1992 968 cabrio black with tan interior. *

* currently own these.

Wagner,

Welcome to the best place there is for 968 information and relationships.

I also have a black cab with cashmere interior - mine is a 1995 with about 175,000 miles. It looks like I'm going to be in the Denver in early November - maybe we can link up for a beer.

Jim
Welcome,

Lots to learn here, please make sure that belts are up to date and the standard maintenance items and you will get years of pleaure from your car.

Jay
Welcome.

Seems as if you always had something in the speed Dept to have some fun with. From what I see in your list, I think your 968 will move to the top of that list when its running at peak performance. However I have no idea what a ford Galaxy 500 is.

What are you thoughts of the car thus far?
Welcome!
My dad recently sold his 62 500XL 406 three 2's. A fast cat that does not stop.
I have a few pics of it in my gallery.
Welcome to the club!
My first car was a 1969 Ford Galaxie 500 fastback with a 302. Oh, if it could talk. Good thing it is dead.
Wagner, welcome to the 968 Community! You are going to really enjoy the 968 after your experience with the 924S and the 944S. There are several knowledgable 968 enthusiasts in your area, look up Chris Lennon in Colorado Springs if you don't already know him. Good luck and enjoy! Bob Blackwell.
