Do any of the BC area 968's recommend a mechanic in "our" area?

I had a lot of work done at SCAN auto on N.Van last year and all seemed to be done well. Very good Porsche factory mechanic on the island here in Qualicum but that's probably a little inconvenient.

I have most work done with Scan Automotive. They service all porsche models. I have seen other 968s at their shop from time to time.

Another option is Weissach in Vancouver. I bought my 968 from them in 2005. They also see quite a few 968s in addition to all other models. They are also very good.

And of course there is MCL the local porsche dealer. Their $/hr is more. I had them perform my 120km factory service. No complaints.

Thanks for "local" mechanics tips. Does anyone know anything VALLEY EUROTEC in Abbotsford? It was recommended by a local mechanic.
I am super happy that my 968 passed the Provincial Inspection today with "flying colors". The previous owners looked after it. After the inspection I took it to my local insurance agent to get it registered as a BC car and it was the hit with agents and customers alike. What a great feeling. Now I need to wait for the winter salt to be gone and then the real "rush" can start.
