Hi Dimma, following on from the post in your intro (sorry, didn't realise that was my 'bad'), are your rims these ones?

Any comments on them, good or otherwise appreciated.
Do you know what they weigh?
i think that is a gorgeous rim - i just wish they weren't so heavy - on the real porsche wheel, the rear is nearly 30# and the front is over 25# - no idea about the replica, but i can't think it would be too different
I think this is one of the first speedline replicas I have seen that looks like the real thing. I am very temped.

How much difference does the extra weight really make?
it can be calculated, but that much will peel off about 1/2 second from your 0-60, about 2-3 tenths off your 1/4 mile - it will also decrease braking effectiveness and add load to the suspension

that isn't to say that they can't be "fine" for average driving - but, if you are the type to seek every bit of performance, you'll notice it
I had a quick look on the Dutch Porsche Forum. Dimma's wheels are Keskin KT2.
Wow, very heavy. A nice road only option in my view.
i think there is a lighter hollow spoke version out there (still heavy, but not as bad), but i am having a hard time connecting my data to a picture to know for sure
I think I've seen new 18" Keskin's advertised for around $1200 or so.
