Hello,
I just puchased a 1993 968 and am very much looking forward to its arrival. Buying sight unseen his a hectic way to buy a new car. The car was a trade in for a newer 911 in Denver and looked very good in the photos and discription. I felt that the Ferrari dealer would't have put it on the internet if it wasn't in top shape. Those guys have a reputation to keep.
I've been looking for a 968 for some time and this one just jumped out at me. I wanted a coupe with manual trans and that's what I got. The price was right for a 73,000 mile, two owner car. It's black with a beige interior, an upgarded sound system and a Nav sysyem. It has complete records.
It will be picked up in Denver May 25 and should reach its new home in Castro Valley, Ca. on Wednesday or Thursday.
I'm a retired airline pilot who learned the trade flying Navy A-4's over the seas and badlands of North Vietnam.
I look forward to being a part of the 968 forum.

Congratualtions on your new ride.

My best friends son just got FA-18 Superhornets, we are bursting with pride.

Regards,

Jay
Hi Alan, Welcome to the forum! Always glad to see another pilot too.
funny - a lot of connections here

i used to race up and down cull canyon and crown canyon on a regular basis

we have another member in the bay area that flew F4s

we have yet another member here who flies commercial jets, and i'm tinkering with his roots blown car

Well, driving a 968 and flying a plane sorta goes well together.

I'm flying the C680 and the C208 on floats - nice rides bot of them.
