I'm going to get the wheels on my touring powder coated and don't know what color.

Black looks good but is way to common and conservitive in my opionion, but I do like it.
I like the gold, because it's old school. I think I can pull it off because the rest of the car is blcked out.
I like the bronze because it's not very common.

I value your opinions, so negative comments are just as welcome.

Black with Silver lip...

JMHO,

Jay
I agree, but hard to do on a one piece wheel and usually does not look "right".
can't stand gold (i don't like kimchi enough)

you're not old enough for bronze, and it isn't a caddy

all black just looks like a kid owns it - black/silver is ok

i'd go for silver - classic, clean, and tidy

i have nearly that same wheel on the denali

I'd go with a charcoal color.

Not a fan of gold or bronze. Reminds me of the 80's when everyone in school was putting them on their Jettas.
yup - i remember when BBS started that whole thing - didn't like them then - don't like them now
Gold
I was think'in the bandit look minus the scream'in chicken.
There were some cool cars back in the day that were black/gold.
Husrt Olds 442
Shelby 350h (Hertz rental)
455 ho TA
Vega Cosworth
maybe I should do poop poo brown, that would be ground breaking.

Thing is, I really don't even like the wheels much, but the price was right. Just don't want to put $2k wheels on a $4k car.
I don't like gold tones and the charcoal just looks "dirty" to me. I belaboured this very same option last year after refinishing my wheels. Every one wanted me (under 25 that is) to get a charcoal colour but in the end I picked a really nice silver. After it was shot my friend who was doing the painting told me I picked the exact same silver that they were already painted - go figure. Guess that's why I'm still married to the same person 30 years later
I would go for gold.

Even though I just bought 4 new 17" original BMW rims in silver for my touring.
I'm partial to silver. Although, I there was a time in the 60's when Ferrari used Cromodura allow wheels with gold centers that I thought always looked very nice, especially on a Red one. In fact, at the Monterey Histoics a couple of years ago now there was a guy with a street legal Ferrari 330P4 turned out that way and it was beautiful.
I would go with Bronze out of your choices. It would be a second choice for me however. My first choice would be VOL932....Anthracite...same color i re did the wheels on my 968 in.
Gloss black (my fav color for everything). Will look like a Hearse.

I had a 69 Torino Woody that I wanted to paint black but did not because some one said it would look like a Hearse. Should have done it. I built wooden boxes that held 2 6X9 speakers each at 45 degree angles and carriage bolted them through the roof. Those were the days.....

Sorry for the thread jack but I haven't thought of that car in years...

Joe
^Cool. It's funny, my wagon has speakers in thee roof over the cargo area.

Dino, I have considered that color. Still not sure what color I'm going with.
I have a spray gun, so instead of PC I'm gonna paint them. It's cheap and easy.
I think I'm gonna have a bronze, gold, copper concogtion mixed up.
If it turns out horrible, sand'em down and go with a dark gun metal.

Thanks for the comments guys.
On a black or dark car --> silver
On a silver car --> titanium-gray
