The 93' has been sitting for a couple months now. It was way past time to start it, and take it around the block. This time when I went to start it the battery wouldnt turn it over all the way. I put a new one in, and when I connect it, the alarm wont stop, its not turning over either....but the alarm is so annoying, I havent given it a good try. Any thoughts, suggestions?
pull the alarm fuse

connect the battery

lock and unlock the car (making sure the central locking is off)

reinstall fuse
Ahh, ok, thanks flash, Ill try that in the morning. I thought fuse, but didnt think about the locks.
no worries - i'm not sure that will clear it, but it will at least establish that the locks are not the problem - there still could be a pin switch that is stuck though, and that will trigger the alarm as well
Pulled the fuses, connected battery, and alarm goes off as soon as I touch the terminal. Where are the pin switches, Ive checked the ones in the door, theyre fine.
on a hatchback, there is a wire at the driver hatch shock - that breaks a lot - check that one - there is also one at the hood latch and at the glovebox
