Hi - I just joined the forums. Planning on buying a 968 in the near future.
I'm more used to american muscle, but am looking forward to not just going fast in a straight line!!

Don't worry about the curves. I hear there is a book for people who emigrate from the prairies who move out west, it explains hills, curves and what the "Slow to 30" sign really means <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/biggrin.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Howard - when you get your 968 you will be looking on maps, online and your GPS for the route with the
most curves! I went out yesterday afternoon (because there was a breif sunny break in the weather <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/tongue.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> ) and went "curve hunting". I always smile as I dive through curves at 60 MPH that have 60 KM/H signs posted! In a cab, however, the passenger will be looking for the upper "holy s***" handle to grab on to, and will not find one! That was my sons only complaint a few wweeks back when we went on a very "spirited" drive with the local PCA boys!

Howard, buy a cabriolet if you can find one. There are only about 2500 that were brought into the US, so they're fairly rare. You put the top down on a nice day and permanently crease your face from the grin. My '94 cab is my "keeper" Porsche, I sold my 944S when I found the 968. No regrets whatever. Don't forget to join PCA, some nice 968s for sale in the classifieds in the magazine called Panorama which you get as a member. Good hunting, and welcome to the Forum.
