Small question about heater hoses:



94410624104 is the one that goes from the water pump to the Heater Control Valve.

BUT 94457238501 says that it goes from heater pipe to heater control valve. Where is that hose located?



The only hoses I know that connect to each side of the heater control valve are 94410624104 and 94410625301



Anyone can clear this doubt for me?

illustration 105-05 in the PET shows the hoses



the ...104 hose is the tiny elbow shaped on on the front side of the HCV and connects to the pump



the ...301 hose is the one on the other side of the HCV and indeed connects to the heater pipe, which runs back to the firewall

I know that. My question is: Where is the 501 hose connected? You never mentioned that hose, which is the one that I have no idea where it goes.

there is no such hose in the PET for the 968

Yes there is on illustration 813-00

looks like that would be in place of the ...104 part



i have the 104 part in mine

I have the 501 part and it does not fit. It is smaller in diameter. I really can't seem to figure out where it goes.

if i had to guess, it fits a different pump, and you need the other part

I see no other explanation.

I think maybe this is an mixup in the parts catalog. The -501 hose comes from 944 type1, where the heater control valve is placed in the back of the engine, just next to the firewall.

That makes a lot of sense.
