Hi, new member to the site. I don't own a 968, rather I currently own a 951. Some of you might recognize me as the guy who has released the DIY DME tuning packages for the 951, 944NA, & 944S2. I hope to eventually get to the 968 as well. And am considering a 968 for my DD.

Hi Rogue,
Glad that you found your way over here, lots of good information to help you with your future purchase.
Enjoy the site, and feel free to contribute.
Jay
Thanks!
I'm the type that likes to do lots of research beforehand, so I'm looking forward to learning more about the 968
PM me if you want to talk / meet up with a Colorado 968 guy! Always happy to meet up with others, and answer any questions.
Hey Rogue,
Nice to see you here. I am interested in datalogging spark angle and knock (if possible) on the 968. Also I read on RL that they went to SMPI on it (I suppose that is easy enough to check.)
Feel free to post something about your cafe racer build on the appropriate forum also. Some of us here also ride. I have a Ducati M900S i.e. myself.
Cheers,
-Joel.
rogue - glad to see you made it over here
thanks for the lead the other day - it enabled me to whittle down the maps i needed to play with to work something out - i'm still wrestling with the less sophisticated software, and hope you get a 968 module worked out so i can jump to that software - lol - unfortunately i'll probably be done before that happens
jfrahm - i think you can record the timing with the durametric

Joel, the 968 DME stuff is still a bit new to me, most of my work has been with the 944/951...
This summer, I hope to get more into the inner workings of the 968 DME.
My Cafe build is interesting - I'm not one to do a cookie cutter setup, so I think it is unique. Though with all the other projects I've got going on, the bike has been put on the back burner. I will certainly post a thread when I have something interesting to show
I love the Ducs, and a good friend of mine has an M750- great bike.
hmm, I guess the quote tag doesn't work?
Flash - no problem, glass to help
If you let me know which maps are used, i.e. the idle, part-throttle, and WOT - both fuel and timing, then I could at least put together a simply TunerPro DIY.
