I have two pair of seats at the house I can use to make the 968 more track worthy. I bought my 996tt with an extra set of original 996 GT3 seats, and I have a set of Recaro SRDs with sub strap hole. Would that the factory sport seats were safe, but they aren't. The car is currently a dual purpose car, and driven to work regularly. So, I don't really want to mount the seats in a fixed position. I have the Design 1 chassis brace in the car to mount the shoulder straps.

Option 1: I have one set of proper mounting hardware for the SRDs, and need a passenger side set. They are available and I have 4" square steel plates for backing a proper placement of the substrap and lap belts.

Option 2: Mount the GT3 seats with integrated submount. My question is how to mount the GT3 seats if I decide to go that way? The two mounting systems are very different so the original mounts for the 996 seats are out, and I am not interested in modifying them. The beauty of the newer system is the integrated substrap. I didn't see any obvious solutions when searching the usual suspects like Brey-Krause, Sparco, and Recaro.
