I heard that there was a feeding frenzy for a speed yellow cab up for sale ..and that there is some thread on RL with the saga of the bidding wars on it.. Anyone here know what happened, if it was sold , and if so at what price ?
It has a new owner in Florida. I think it went for the asking price of $17K. It looks like a great car. 1 of 10!
Bargain, IMO. Lucky new owner, hope we'll see him or her soon on the forum.
BTW, if one with a roof comes up on the market ( not a Tip though..) and it's in really great shape, someone let me know please....though I suspect there'll be a bidding war on that as well..
Where was this car offered for sale?
Autotrader, dealer in San Diego, I called and he had received over a dozen calls on the car, had two deposits, and 5 buyers who wanted it.
