I've always been envious of people who are able to post images with edits (arrows, circles, verbiage) on them. How the heck do you do that?
GIMP is a free photoshop like program. You should be able to do everything with that.

By the way, your old hood with the vents was awesome (my friend bought it). It is a shame it got destroyed in shipping.
GIMP is good, and Paint .NET is also nice.

Yes, I was stunned when I saw the pictures. I must have spent twelve hours packing that thing in very dense foam on all sides. I would have thought it could hve been dropped from a ten story building without damage. Unbelievable. I hope he gets a nice settlement from Fedex.

Oh, and thanks for the recommendations. I'll check them out.
Cloud I'll usually take photos with my phone, import them into the computer, drop them into Adobe Illustrator, make my arrows and such and then take a screen grab, saved as a jpeg or png, to post to the forum. Pretty easy, but then I do this stuff for a living!
Bomb - Easy for you to say! Here's a related question: You mention to do a screen grab, but my problem with that is that my computer is a Windows (XP) PC, but I have a Mac keyboard that I inherited from my daughter. It doesn't have a print screen key. So, any idea how I'd do a screen capture with my configuration? Thanks.
I really like the free MWSnap tool, which I believe lets you define a capture key other than PrintScreen.
Just googled how you do a screen grab on a PC - I'm Mac based so I didn't know the procedure - it appears you have to have that 'print screen' key, which Mac keyboards don't have.
Yeah, that was my question, but it appears that Tama might have a solution for me. I'll give it a try, but I have an engine to get ready to install!
