So I'm in Fort Worth, annoyed that I'm stuck in slow construction on Beach St. Nice night, windows are down and I hear "I like your car.". I look over at the car next to me and start chatting with a guy. I'm impressed because he knew my car was a 968 (I constantly have men tell me my car is a 944 or a 928)... What I didn't notice right away (position of the cars, and the fact that you just do NOT see 968s very often) was HE WAS DRIVING A BLACK 1994 968 COUPE TOO. OMG! Only the 2nd once I've seen in Texas in as many years. Funny! His interior is tan (mine's black) and it's a tip (I'm glad for the 6-Speed), but other than that, we're driving the same car. How cool is that? He was the one who referred me to this site, and I found him in the members list. Newer in Texas, nice to be in touch with some fellow enthusiasts of this magical car. Pam
Very cool, and oh so rare, especially in Texas.
Except mine is Midnight Blue, not Black LOL. Very dirty
Oh crap. I thought it was black. My bad! Now I'm envious - I couldn't find a midnight blue car, bet it's looks great shined up!
It's the only colour that looks good shined up, am I right? High five? <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/rolleyes.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> Yea, yea, Polar Silver, blah, blah, blah <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.png" class="smilie" alt="" />
Iris Blue ain't all that shabby. Look at my profile pics....
But we all know that Midnight Blue cars are the fastest, no?
Yup, proven in another post <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/wink.png" class="smilie" alt="" />
