This car has been posted on Craigslist for a few months now, but he just recently put up these new pictures of it. Looks in good shape for desert sun car with 214k miles!

Jeff,

I saw your post on .net from about 6 months ago in response to the 1992 Turquoise Metallic 968 Cab that sold - if that was a 1 of 1 in Turquoise Metallic...then what do you think this is?

colors in photos are often tough to call, but that looks to me closer to a Wimbledon Green .. ? also, funny looking " Coupe " , lol.. sorry, could not resist..
That is B5 Wimbledon green. That car is RS840159. It is still pretty rare but not a 1 of 1. It is 1 of 12 Wimbledon cabs, 1 of 3 paired with a cashmere/black interior, and 1 of 2 1994 Wimbledon cabs. The turquoise is actually a little darker.

Jeff
I absolutely LOVE Wimbledon Green...wish it had about 150,000 fewer miles....

They are rare, only 9 coupes in WG. 2 of them are M030s, one was the Motorweek 1993 test car. Google the video.
Thanks Jeff, will check it out. Wow, that is rare.. Out of curiosity, how many Iris blue coupes ?
The youtube vid of the motor week test has been pulled. Top Gear review is still out there though. Jeremy's was silver as I recall.
You are correct about Jeremy's being silver. He gave it a mixed review and ultimately (through the miracle of TV) booted it off a cliff in favor of a Jag X type v-12. His opinion was based on the relatively high cost of the 968 relative to the Japanese imports at the time which were offering similar performance and a much lower price. Later Porsche reduced the price of the 968 and as the video goes on to point out, Jeremy found redemption in the 968.
