Hello, from Jacksonville, Florida. New member looking for a 968 and just doing some research. Forum looks like the right place! I know Albert Broadfoot he and I raced a 944 years ago. I recently went to see him and he got me interested in the car.
Looks like the best bang for the buck these days. Look forward to learning about the cars.

please realize that "bang for the buck" really depends on what you expect. regardless of how cheaply you might be able to buy a car, in the end, you will spend nearly $20k on a hardtop model, and a couple grand more on a cab, including purchase, within the first 2 years of ownership, whether you buy a clean one, or a beater and fix it up. great car, but it is 20 years old, and you have to expect the normal things associated.

Welcome and good luck with your search! I purchased a 944 S2 racing exhaust from Albert many years ago and really enjoyed it. It was a bit load for street use, but you could tell it was high quality just by looking at it. If I remember correctly he does a 968 exhaust as well, some here might enjoy hearing more about it if you get a chance.
